Stage Class

This class is an extension of our regular jazz and tap classes, concentrating on performance and dramatic skills. Students are taught to perform and sell their dance with personality and showmanship. The choreography is also more advanced. Classes are challenging and lots of fun but always with a serious undertone. It is for those who really love their dancing and are happy to perform to an audience.

Attendance is by invitation or audition only. Students are chosen for their talent, dance potential, intelligence, attitude, presentability and personality. To be selected students must be enrolled in Jazz, Tap and Ballet and be performing to their capacity. We have found in the past that stage class students show better concentration and have more confidence in themselves.

Students in this class will take part in all our demonstrations and promotional work as well as competitions and eisteddfods. Therefore they will need the additional time, encouragement and commitment of their parents. Please do not let your child attend this class unless you are prepared to make a commitment and have them at class every week, on time, or at any venue where we may have been asked to perform.
