“Happy Easter!”

Now lets get ready for a sensational concert – This year our theme is “HEROES” and the kids are already well into their routines. Here is an update as to what’s happening at the moment;

RAD Ballet Exams Most exam payments have been made but we are still chasing a few outstanding so if this is you please pay Mr Richard ASAP.

	Proposed Dates:	We have requested a Friday in May 07 (to be confirmed)

	Location:	St Stephens Church Hall - Cnr Mowbray and Sydney St Willoughby

	Catch up Classes:	Those students who were unable to make one of the “very important” ballet rehearsals taught by examiner Miss McGirr are urged to have private lessons to catch up on what was missed at these rehearsals. If this is you please see Miss Nicole or call her on 0418 7000 69 ASAP.

	Uniforms:	Students are to check their ballet shoes are clean and looking new. Please wear skin coloured underwear, own pins, brush and spray. Primary and Grade one wear ballet socks AND Grade five wear seamless ballet tights.

	Note:	See Miss Nicole for some special notes regarding the taking of ballet exams.

Melbourne Visits Sydney Workshop

	Date:	Friday 27th April 2007

	Location:	Blacktown Studio - 2 Warrick Lane Blacktown

	Time:	10am – 5.30pm

	Cost/Age:	$20 (Special BDA Price), 11 and over only

	Classes:	Theatre Jazz, Commercial Hip Hop / Jazz, Singing

	Dinner:	There will also be a dinner after the workshop in Parramatta and both parents and students attending are welcome. See Miss Nicole or call 0418 7000 69 for details.

	*Note:*	Classes will be as normal on the Sat 28th April (joined by the Stapleton Dance Academy)

Sydney Visits Melbourne Excursion As we need to book airfares and accom urgently please let Mr Richard know ASAP if you are coming!

	Proposed Dates:	Thursday 5th July – Monday 9th July 07

	Proposed Expenses:	Return Airfare Accom Food Workshop and costume Theatre Show Transport in Melb Total	$240 $250 $250 $100 $80 $50 $970 (approx)

Other Things to Note:

	Website:	All information will now be posted to the website under “News” at www.bradforddanceacademy.com.au, please have a look there to make sure you are up to date.

	Timetable:	Tere is a new class time table - be sure to pick one up or download from the website above.

	Mufti days:	1st Saturday of each month ($2) in the piggy bank

	Pickups:	If someone other than your child’s regular person is going to pick them up after class please advise staff prior. Please note: pick ups and drop offs must be from within the studio.

	Birthday Gift Vouchers:	If it is your birthday we will give you a $2 voucher which you can use at the tuckshop to buy something special.

	BDA Jackets:	It is compulsory for all BDA teachers and stage class members to have a Jacket. We have a few jackets for sale in various sizes for $65.

	Recycled Clothing and Shoes:	We have a collection of shoes, leotards, pants etc for sale - please see Miss Corina or Miss Ann.
